Bridging Time is a puzzle game where the player is a time traveling witch trying to locate her lost wand. While attempting a teleportation spell, she was launched through time and space into the ruins of Brittlebean castle, losing her wand in the process. She must now travel through the castle to find her wand.

Unfortunately, the abandoned ruins of Brittlebean castle are difficult to traverse. Broken bridges and fallen walls can prevent players from going forward. Plants and vines cover everything. Luckily, by using time magic granted by a magic pocket watch, players can travel back in time 300 years to when Castle Brittlebean was in pristine condition. Castle guards are common, as well as locked doors, making it challenging for the witch to move through the castle. The only solution is jump back and forth through time, bridging the gap.

Extra Lore

Due to time constraints, not all of the narrative our team developed made it into the game. This is the story of how Castle Brittlebean feel into ruin,

300 years ago, the king of Brittlebean Castle desperately wanted his kingdom to last forever.  He wanted his land to be prosperous and his people happy until the end of time. It pained him to think that one day, it would all come to an end. He searched for long and hard for something that would grant his wish, and eventually, heard a rumor of a magical item buried beneath his own castle that had the power to preserve his kingdom.

Right away, he ordered all his soldiers and citizens to search for the artifact. They dug so much they destroyed the foundation of the castle. Still, they found nothing.

As time went on,  the kingdom fell into a famine with no one attending to the crops. The people of Brittlebean decided to revolt while they still had strength left. They killed the king and threw his body in the pit he had made them dig. Then, they fled into the forest, leaving Brittlebean Castle to crumble to dust.
